Nine Inch Nails-Live at Woodstock '94
Wow!!I 've been into NIN since i heard Pretty Hate Machine ,but i never got the chance to listen to any bootlegs...I thought it would have been very hard to reproduce all the cool sounds onstage...but they didn't fail!Hell yeah ,they rule live!Expecially with songs such as Head Like a Hole ,Wish ,Happiness in Slavery and March of the Pigs.This is da real shit!
Stuck Mojo-Rising
The new album....awesome!At first i wasn't into it very much ,cuz i got the "rough mix" version....but the more i listen to it ,the more i like it.Check out the opener track ,the single Rising and all the rest of the cd.Definitely something u can surely spend your $ on.
Deftones-Around the Fur
Having recently seen the band live, i can tell ya that the songs are much better played live.But since we can't travel the world following the Deftones in every city they play....just sit down and put on this mighty cd on your stereo.It's absolutely GREAT!!My favourite songs?All of them.....but when i listen to"Lotion" nothing can't really stop me from jumping,moshing,trashing all around....and do whatever i feel at the moment...ah ah
Voice Inside-Solitary Soul
If yoou like stuff like Pearl jam or Soungarden ,with the melancholic mood of Alice in Chains ,you'll love this band.They r from Sacramento ,and this is their 1st cd.They are not on a major ,but you can check more on them at www.voiceinside.com...I would say that if this band came out in the early '90s ,today they would be at least on the Rolling Stone cover...
Everclear-So Much for the Afterglow
Many of you out there may think that Everclear is just a sold out eMpTyV band.....which is exactly what i thought before hearing their stuff.Their previous album kicks ass ,but is more punk-rock oriented ,while on this one you can find many different music styles...from the power rock song to the punk groove to the typical acoustic radio-friendly ballad.I think the word "universal" can sum up really weel the whole cd.
